What To Expect
Thank you for considering Lighthouse Baptist Church
We understand visiting a new church for the first time can be difficult, but our desire for you is that you feel welcomed and comfortable. We will try to answer a few questions you may have:
Can anyone come and visit?
Yes. Everyone is invited! Click here to view our location. You can also visit our Ministries section to view the various ministries we have for every member of your family.
Our regular service times are as follows:
Sunday School: 9:30 AM
Sunday Morning: 10:30 AM
Sunday Evening: 6 PM
Wednesday Evening: 7 PM
Where Do I Go When I Arrive?
You should be met by an usher or greeter on the sidewalk before you get to a door, but if that does not happen, there are 2 main entrances to our building – the brick stepped entrance on Neal street is the most obvious. It opens into a small foyer adjacent to the main sanctuary.
The second entrance, further back from Neal Street, enters the side of the building. You will see glass paned double doors. These too open into a foyer and hallway that allows you to enter the Christian Education wing, restrooms, or the nursery areas.

How Should I Dress?
There is no dress code at Lighthouse Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Lighthouse Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
Where Should I Park?
LBC is nestled in the historic section of Pleasanton. There is ample street parking along First Street, Second Street, and Neal. There are designated parking spaces near the church for First Time Guests and for our Senior and handicap friends.
The handicap ramp is located on the East side of the building on Second Street. Be sure to ask one of our ushers or greeters for any assistance you may need.
What About My Children?
We provide clean and safe nursery and toddler care by loving and trained workers for every service. In addition, there is also age graded Sunday school classes and Jr church for all children ages 4 years to 6th grade for the Sunday morning services.
An usher or greeter will be able to direct you to the right classrooms.
I have friends and family who are fluent in Tagalog. Can they come?
Yes. We offer real-time translation of services in Tagalog. Our Tagalog speaking guests are equipped with special radio receivers. These receivers are used to listen to the preachings as they are translated by members of our congregation.
